How To Do Facial Cleansing At Home: 5 Easy Steps You Need To Know

No matter how many precautions you take, your skin is always in danger once you step out of your home.

1. Cleansing

Now, take cleansing milk in a small bowl and soak on a cotton pad it.

Next, apply the milk all over your face with the cotton ball. Then, wash with normal water.

2. Scrubbing

For making scrub at your home, you need rice flour, rose water, and turmeric powder.

Mix it well and make a fine paste.

Now, apply the scrub on your face with your hands and massage in a circular motion.

Massage for about 5 minutes and then wash with normal water.

3. Toning


Toning is an essential step of facial but most of us generally skip it but really should not.

Toner should be applied immediately after scrubbing without any delay.

For making homemade toner, all you need is one tablespoon of aloe vera gel and cucumber juice and mix it well.

Apply on your skin and neck using a cotton dab to wipe off the dirt.

4. Face Pack


A face pack is crucial as it hydrates your skin and keeps it healthy by getting rid of the dirt that is accumulated on the surface of the skin.

It also helps in removing dark spots, acne scars, and makes your skin tone well.

You can buy any face pack according to your skin type, but if you want to use something natural, fuller’s earth (Multani mitti) makes a great face pack for you. 

5. Moisturization      


Moisturization is the final step of the face clean up routine.

It helps to keeps your skin smooth, glowing, clear, and wrinkle-free in the future. Use moisturizing cream after completing all the facial steps.

Those with oily skin can go with water-based moisturizer, and for normal to dry skin, milk-based moisturizer can be the best choice.

However, try not to use chemical-based cream as it can affect your skin.
